I’m a 5’4″ woman and purchased the black, 12lb vest. It fits perfectly with the straps fully tightened. This is so well constructed with the weight evenly distributed throughout the vest and nicely padded shoulders, and front and back sides of the vest aren’t too close to rub against the skin during the natural swing of the arms. It’s also designed to lay from shoulder to mid back with nice quality elastic areas to hug the sides when tightened. It also seems like the back mesh pocket, which I’m sure is for a cell phone, could be used for small added weight pouches as a next step before getting a truly heavier vest. I have only used this for 2 days in my exercise routine and then also working around the house. Right now I have a walking pad workout and then I use a mini trampoline for “trampoline sprints sets”. I started using the vest immediately when I received it and I can really tell this vest will be such a positive addition to my everyday life and in helping my workout effectiveness. I am also impressed that it is such a good value for the money, looks like it will last a long time even with everyday use.

Good product but too big
Overall this is a good product, and I am keeping it for walks. It does not fit as well as I was hoping it would. I have it adjusted to the smallest settings and it is still pretty loose. I am a 5’5, 110 lb woman for reference. It will be comfortable enough for walking but definitely not running or more intense exercise.

Great buy to step up your workout
I have been seeing TONS of weighted vest promotions lately and have wanted one so bad. I found this one on prime day deals and decided to give it a try. It’s the best deal I could find with good reviews.I was able to use it right out of the box. Super easy to put on and strap down. It doesn’t move or feel unstable during my workouts. It definitely adds some resistance. I can usually walk 30 minutes on the treadmill no problem and at minute 8 I was like wow, it’s only been 8 minutes?There wasn’t any funky smell and the weight is evenly distributed so it’s comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The straps are nice and thick and overall I love it! The only design flaw is the pocket in the back. Like, how am I gonna reach anything I put in there? lol but a small issue that doesn’t really matter to me.

extremely happy with my purchase
I’m a 5’2″ woman, and this fits me fine for walking. I ordered the 12-pound weight, and I put the 16-pound version on my wishlist for Christmas. I own an older vest that is basically a front and back panel with Velcro to strap the back to the front. One thing that’s nice about the older vest is that it has 1-pound tubes that fit into slots on the front and back, so I can adjust the weight over time. The downside of that one is that it’s also very hot compared to this one because it literally covers my entire front and back.That one also cost a lot more, even several years ago. For the price of this one, I can buy a 2nd vest in a heavier weight. For now, I have this one to use when I get up to get in a quick 5-minute walk each hour. It is designed so that it is extremely simple to put on and take off, which I really like. The 12-pound weight is a good option for me. I could do more, but I also incorporate strength training in workouts 3 days a week, so this is a good compromise.I really like how the weight on this is easily distributed. The design to allow for plenty of airflow is also great. Mine had no smell at all that I could tell when it arrived.

Je l’aime beaucoup. Seul défaut c’est qu’on ne peut le serrer à la taille donc moins pratique pour courir. Je mesure 5.5 pieds, 133 lbs. J’ai pris le gilet 12 lbs. Mais pour marcher et faire des exercices pour les jambes c’est parfait. L’odeur n’est pas désagréable.
