Well-Made and Easy to Hang, but the Design Feels More Commercial Than Residential
I ordered this mirror as part of a bathroom refresh with a coastal-farmhouse vibe. Overall, the construction and installation were solid, but the final look wasn’t quite what I was hoping for.The mirror includes all necessary hardware, and installation is straightforward. The back has pre-drilled holes that slide over the screws and lock into place via notches. Once mounted, it feels secure as long as it isn’t shifted side-to-side. The mirror does have some weight to it, but not so much that it makes installation difficult.The aluminum frame feels sturdy and substantial—thick enough to comfortably support the weight of the mirror, which I appreciated. From a quality standpoint, there were no issues.Where this mirror fell short for me was the design. The mirror glass sits flush with the front of the frame rather than being recessed. Most of the frame depth is behind the glass, which gave it a more commercial or institutional look than I expected. I personally think it would look more refined if the mirror were set deeper into the frame instead.Because of that aesthetic choice, I didn’t end up using it in my space. If you’re going for a modern or commercial look, this may work well for you—but for a home bathroom with a softer or more traditional feel, it may not be the right fit. That’s why I deducted one star.

Some people have called the style too industrial, but I think it’s clean and modern—especially since we already have several black aluminum picture frames around the house, it blends right in without feeling out of place.The frame is simple and sturdy, giving it a nice minimalist vibe. It’s a great size for above a half-bath sink, where it would look sharp and functional. For now, though, I’m planning to mount it in our mudroom.
