It’s a very pretty clock. It has some gold ebellishments or brass. Very own ornate design. The background of the clock on the face has some sort of a floral design but it’s very subtle. The only issue I’m going to have, being that I can’t see very well at times, is that the numbers on the clock are small due to the fact that the face is small; being about 6 in diameter. Other than that it’s it’s a wonderful piece. Definitely worth the price. It’s got a swinging pendulum. It runs on two AA batteries. The second hand is a constant movement.
