Nice quality but its a dress
This is a well made and very comfortable shirt, but it is basically a dress on me. Shoulders, sleeves and chest fit fine, but the tails extend beyond my butt. I am 5’8″ and 170 lbs (172cm 77kg). I know some shirts are designed to be tucked in, but who tucks in a flannel? I intended to use this as an outer layer shirt. I will now have to take it to get altered for additional money because it truly looks ridiculous un-tucked.The shirt is very well made and very soft. I do like the shirt, I just wish the dimensions were more in line with every other shirt I own in the same size.

I can see why this is an often returned item, because the sizing is laughably inept. I first got a Medium, and I could have sworn it was an XL.I’m about 5’9″ with 36 to 38 shoulders, slender athletic build, and I normally wear a medium, and seldomly a small. But considering just how huge the Medium was, I went straight for the XS, which fits perfectly. It makes no sense, but that’s probably why they keep putting this item on sale for less than $20 — cuz nobody is getting what they expected.Fabric is buttery soft and well made, no sign of pilling. Works great as a light second layer over a base, and fits taut enough to comfortably put a jacket over it. I knew I wanted a second one after being impressed with how the XS fit.Cut and two-pocket design is flattering for those with broader chests and shoulders, but will likely feel baggy on lanky builds.

I was genuinely pleasantly surprised by this shirt, it’s a super soft flannel material it feels good quality. It’s nice and warm. I often wear it with a white T-shirt under it and that’s plenty warm enough.I got an XL and it absolutely fits true to size, the colour (dark red) will look great in the lead up to Christmas. I’m probably going to pick up some other colours too.
