What is the hole cutout size? Can these be used in narrow ceiling areas?
We recommend that you cut a 6.2’’-6.5’’ hole in the ceiling (Advised the cutout size: 6.25″). The light only requires as small as 2 inches ceiling spaces and fits various ceilings, no cans required. Great for new construction or remodel applications.
What’s the difference between these colors?
2700K-Soft White/3000K-Warm White/3500K-Neutral White/4000K-Cool White/5000K-Daylight. The color switch is on the junction box. You can choose one of the five color temperaments to decorate your house or company according to your preference.
Can the light be placed in wet or damp areas such as bathrooms?
The light is damp-rated, which means it will be suitable for damp locations like bathrooms. But that does not mean waterproof. So it is best to install it above the shower to avoid direct contact with water.
IC Rated: Amico’s canless LED recessed light is IC rated, which is permitted to be in contact with insulations in ceilings, meaning the junction box is thermally protected. Excellent Product, Even Better Customer Service
I recently remodeled my home and needed to add all-new lighting since there were none before. I chose this option because I love that the color is changeable, which gave me the flexibility to pick the custom hue I wanted for each room.Out of the full set I ordered, one light had a slight issue. I immediately emailed customer service, and they responded instantly. They resolved the problem quickly and sent a replacement unit right away. I was so happy I didn’t have to uninstall all the other lights just to process a return. Excellent lights, nice and bright at highest setting.
Excellent lights, easy to install. Bright when fully powered, you will want a dimmer. The only bad thing I have to say is that there is a delay in them turning on when you have the dimmer set to low. I do not know if this is the lights or the switch (I did buy Lutron switches for them). I definitely recommend these lights, I’ve installed over 100 in my house.Of note, I bought several different brands from Amazon. Apart from very minor differences – the color of the tabs, or the style of the wire connectors they come with – I can’t tell them apart once they’ve been installed.
