I was building a house and I decided to go with recessed lighting because I like the way it looks and it also just happens to be the cheapest way you can go without spending a ton of money on a bunch of light fixtures that are ugly and hanging down anyways. These lights are awesome and they’re great value. They look good and they work excellent I’ve not had a problem with any one of them. Good buy

Decent lights, good price, only a couple things could be better…1. The metal boxes are sharp. it would be better if they were either plastic, or coated where the wires go through the openings, so that they don’t cut into the wire, causing a fire hazard. Although it’s ok, as long as you’re careful not to put too much tension on the line while installing the wire leads.2. It’s great that they package the wire connectors inside the boxes. It would be better and save a lot of time if they could connect all the wiring connectors to the wire leads inside the light boxes ahead of time.3. Lastly, I was not able to get them to dim with my existing lutron dimmer switches, but they may not be one of the compatible ones.I liked the lights, and would buy them again, regardless.

Fantastic product
Use a smaller hole saw than they suggest. I used a 6-1/8” hole saw and then adjusted as needed. The soft foam ring is great for a tight energy efficient seal against the ceiling. If you have popcorn ceiling you can just make a little template so you know how much of the texture to remove.I like that this is a USA product and company who stand by their products. One year in and they’re efficient when paired with a Lutron dimmer per their suggestions.I came back and bought the night light version as well but have not yet installed them.
