    Impressive
I just tried this this morning. So, this review could change. But, I’ve tried a LOT of different sunscreens in search of an invisible and matte finish. Australian Gold and MD Elta are the best. MD Elta is good, but fairly expensive. Australian gold is very mattifying—to the point that fine lines will appear below my eyes (so I use a moisturizer on that area. But, Australian Gold either leaves white cast or saturated color. So, I usually slather on a European sunscreen containing TriAsorB and then, after an hour, tap a thin layer of Australian Gold on to mattify. But, that assumes I have an hour to kill.If I leave the house quickly, I tend to just use Australian Gold 30 and put up with a little white cast. But, this Australian Gold with nude tint is impressive. I slathered it on generously. I looked in the mirror and it is invisible—no white cast or ruddiness. There was an ever so slight sheen. I waited five minutes and looked in the mirror again.1. No sheen whatsoever.2. No fine lines below the eyes.3. Completely invisible.4. It feels like I’m wearing nothing.Only two drawback that I see right now.1. It is so lite weight and invisible that I feel the urge to apply more. It feels and looks like I didn’t put any sun protection on. That’s not the case since I slathered it on generously as I do for other sun screens. But, I’m sure I’ll get used to that.2. Right after putting it on, it was so invisible, I wiped a small section with a white cleanex. It came back tan. So, I can NOT wear this with a white shirt. That would be the holy grail of sunscreens (can’t wear anything too oily with a white shirt—TriAsorB leaves a yellowish oil on a white shirt). So, I’ll need to stick with some mineral white cast on the neck area. But, for the face, this is a really awesome sunscreen. And at the current price and a three ounce bottle. Mattifying European chemical sunscreens cost 3x as much for 1.7 ounces—so 6x as expensive per ml.I am super impressed with this sun screen.

    It works well
It is very natural but thick and it blends in with my skin. I don’t have a white cast. My skin looks a little pink after I put it on, but it works and later looks fine.

Where Have You Been? Mineral Sunscreen That Looks Like Skin!
Finally, a mineral sunscreen that looks like skin! Not like I dipped my face in butter, not like the Sahara desert, not orange, not corpse-white, not with little pills nor streaks! I’ve got pale, dry, sensitive skin. Most “tinted” sunscreens are too dark, but this disappears into my skin, blurring my skin tone a bit. I wear it over basic moisturizer. It plays nicely with my concealer. Hasn’t broken me out. I dislike the slightly sour smell and the inclusion of eucalyptus, but the pros greatly outweigh the cons and it is priced so nicely! This dries down/rubs in pretty fast, saving precious time in the morning. It comes out fairly emollient and lotion-y. Not like the whipped textures that tend to separate. Applies easily. I have been searching for years for a sunscreen like this! Please, please don’t stop making this! I plan to switch to the SPF 50 for the summer, hoping it’s just as fantastic as the SPF 30!

    Best sunscreen I ever used
Has no harmful chemicals. Pretty much invisible. The color helps to not have that white sheen common with zinc based screens. And on top of that, smells like ube!Wish they had a 70, but the 50 was sufficient for Hawaii in wintertime.

A lighter version of Australia Gold Botanical SPF 50 Tinted. Please sell a TSA-friendly version too!
This is the perfect lovechild of Australia Gold Botanical SPF 50 Tinted Sunscreen (fair-light) in a shade similar to Paula’s Choice Tinted SPF 30. The different between Australian Gold SPF 50 Mineral (this one) vs Australian Gold Botanical SPF 50 Tinted Sunscreen (fair light) is:Shade:- This product is slightly friendly to people with fair, and fair to light- Australian Gold Botanical SPF 50 Tinted Sunscreen (fair light) is better for people with light to light-medium skin tone- As much as I love this shade, it won’t work for everyoneTexture is very similar- Ingredient list super similar, so expect similar texture. It goes on matte and finish with a blur effect.- Australian Gold Botanical SPF 50 Tinted Sunscreen (older version) is maybe tiny bit friendlier if you have dry patch skin and it will paste them all over with a matte and blurred finish w/o any sign of dry patches- This version also has the property to make dry-patch days easier with the blurred finish but not as awesome as the previous version.- I will say they are very similar, but the previous version’s blur effect is only 5-10% better.Packaging- I like the previous packaging better as I can use the screw cap without make a mess on the lid- This version doesn’t allow me to screw the cap off so I can make things clean. It won’t make a super mess on the lid but I prefer tinted product don’t make a yellow mess AT ALL on the lidSize- Size is general but not TSA friendly. The previous version is 3oz (88ml) and easier for travel days- Could you make a smaller version??If Australian Gold really looks for improvement- Add shade for other skin tones- Design better opening/lid- Sell a smaller size, less than 100ml (TSA friendly size)
