Not Just for Sunburns
When a severe sunburn caught me offguard on vacation, this was the only product available for purchase at the local store. I applied it every 15 minutes during the trip home and my sunburn was unnoticeable the following day. It has a light pleasant scent to it as well. Yes, this product contains alcohol and that will irritate some people’s skin.I use this on cuts and bug bites because the aloe helps it heal faster and the alcohol kills germs, as a facial moisturizer or to remove pimples, as a facial toner and beauty treatment. TIP: This can also be used to refill a travel size container of hand sanitizer because it’s a gel containing alcohol. You may wish to add a little alcohol to that since I’m not sure how much this contains. Some swear by this for younger looking skin but genetics play a huge role.This isn’t sticky and evaporates fast. The price is exceptional as well. I also keep plain aloe vera gel on hand for times when I’d rather not have alcohol on my skin. TIP: for a really bad sunburn the best thing is to repeatedly soak or wash the area with baking soda and water. That takes the sting out and restores skin really quickly without any irritation.

Bought a bottle of this when I got burned in Hawaii. I love it! I bought the three pack once I got back to NM and have been using it quite frequently as a nice replacement to lotion. It dries and isn’t sticky to the touch at all — not even a bit. It smells quite fine for just being aloe and has been great for skin in such a dry climate. Better feel than globing on the lotion. Best Aloe I’ve found yet, and I’ve tried quite a few after ending up burnt more than a few times. 🙂

How the gel leaves skin feeling
Love this stuff. I use it all year long. I like because of my dry skin even drinking lots of water. The gel dries and does not clog pores like cream does leaving skin looking young again. Got to be careful wearing shorts my dog likes licking my leg – not good or healthy. Not sticky rubbing gel on or after. I do not want to talk about value for money. Do not want company to raise price. LOL. I like product scent, very mild if any at all.

Good for more than just sunburn
We use Banana Boat Aloe Gel for all sorts of skin irritations. It’s cooling and relieves itchy skin. It even helps temporarily relieve the itch due to hives. This is a great product to have in your medicine cabinet all year round.

I’ve been applying this stuff to my skin since the early 80s. It’s not expensive, you can find it anywhere (I buy here for convenience). Not at all oily, you can even use it on your face. Whoever developed this product originally got it right, A+++ after all these years.

Excellent product
I’ve worked outside in the elements all my life (farm, construction, oilfield) and no matter how careful you are to prevent sunburn, it happens. I’ve used this product since I first saw it in the late 1990s(? not sure of the year- but a long time). It relieves the grief of sunburn and has helped me heal quicker for years. Glad to be able to buy a three pack, I can keep some everywhere I might need it.
