Good Value, would purchase again
Just received and tried facial oil. Liked that product wasn’t oily and had a pleasant watermelon scent when applying. Great to use after shower and especially during the winter months when skin can become dry. Facial oil has a lightweight feeling and skin felt moisturized.

I use this on nights I don’t use my retinol just to help with dryness and I feel like it’s really helping with an additional moisture barrier.

This review is for CLEARSTEM’s GoldenHour Hydrating Facial Oil / Barrier Oil for $18.99.I love the design of the bottle! The top “button” pulls the oil into the dropper. It’s a neat twist on an old idea. The bottle seems small but you only need 1 or 2 drops to cover your entire face and even your neck or other dry areas. This bottle would last a long, long time.I found the scent to be pleasant – like childhood memories of hot summers barefoot in the grass (no fire ants!), laughing with friends and eating watermelon on the picnic table in the backyard. The smell does fade after application and does not linger unpleasantly.While I believe the product is well made and formulated, it is not the best option for my specific skin type (combination skin) – it’s a little too greasy for me. I was hoping once rubbed in and absorbed into the skin that the greasy sensation would go away – but hours later, the oily feeling was still there. I also tried wearing this at night before bed since layering makeup on top would not work for me but I couldn’t not focus on the oily feeling of it (ADD) and had to wash it off to be able to fall asleep.Perhaps for very, very dry / damaged skin, this would be a better fit. The ingredients are all top notch – I was just hoping that some of the oiliness would go away after absorbed but it did not for my skin type.As someone with combination skin, this

Awesome facial product!
I am just writing my review unfortunately this oil is already over half way gone. It hydrates my face and feels super moisturizing. I haven’t noticed a plumping effect of the product but I’m not too bummed about it. It’s also not super oily once you pat the product into your face. It also smells amazing! I love the pumping syringe that comes with the product! I recommend you purchase!

Fantastic for aging skin
This CLEARSTEM GOLDENHOUR facial oil has become a staple in my nighttime routine over the past two weeks. I love everything about it. The natural watermelon scent, the light, absorbent texture, the glass bottle and the push button dropper all make it a pleasure to use. But the best thing is its effect on my skin.My aging, rosacea prone skin looks brighter, smoother, and noticeably more glowy about a week into using it. I often layer it over a facial mist and a hyaluronic acid serum before bed, and I wake up with clear, soft skin. I’ve also noticed that my hands and cuticles are softer because I rub the excess oil into them after patting it into my face and décolletage.I appreciate that this is a non-comedogenic “clean beauty” formulation, which I specifically look for in my skincare. Moisturizing Facial Oil With a Light and Pleasant Scent
I have drier, non–acne-prone skin and am fairly new to starting a facial routine, so I decided to try this product to add to what I’m already doing. I’m really glad I did, because it has quickly become one of my favorite skincare items.This is a hydrating facial oil, and it feels wonderful when applied. A little goes a long way—about three drops, as the instructions recommend—especially when you warm it up in your hands first. Because of that, the bottle should last quite a while, which is a nice bonus. It feels very moisturizing and absorbs quickly into my skin.The only thing I’m personally not a fan of is that it leaves a slight shiny/glowy finish on the face. I know some people love that look, but it’s not my preference. Because of this, I use it once daily at night rather than in my morning skincare routine.I’m also sensitive to scents, but this one doesn’t bother me at all. It has a very light watermelon scent that smells natural and subtle—not artificial or overpowering like a childhood lip balm. I definitely recommend this product and love how it feels when I apply it. It’s a facial product I’ll absolutely be reordering.
