after reading some of the reviews it sounded like this is the worst tasting product in the world.I received my order today couldn’t wait to open it and try it . First thing first ! “you cannot use cold water “ must be in room is room temperature!It’s says on it !!!!!Taste: was perfectly well balanced with hint of vanilla and hint of beef flavor.It was most definitely delicious!I would like to also mention;Good taste is as good as a good company’, these words are good to motivate you on a dull day. I was a little skeptical about this protein due to the price and some of the reviews I read. Mostly the ones talking about taste vs. cost and consistency. It was recommended to me by my holistic functional medicine doctor because my protein levels were pretty low. My body doesn’t absorb protein the way most people does and although I’m on digestive enzymes and other things to help the absorption, I needed to find a way to intake more animal protein. Which if you know anything about needing to eat anywhere from 125 to 150 g of animal protein per day that can be a huge challenge. You don’t get that in yogurts And protein bars however, she recommended this protein and said it would count towards my animal protein absorption due to how it is made and absorbed we absolutely love it! I am 42 years old with a 17, 11, and five-year-old and all of us, including my husband drink at least one of these protein shakes a day. We often mix it with a little bit of oat milk and a half of a banana and sometimes my tea will throw in a scoop of peanut butter, but even just by itself it taste amazing.I would love to see the price come down, however that’s not going to stop me from being a returning customer because the quality is worth it and I easily blow $100 a month at Starbucks and this is so much more worth it than that.

Protein taste fine, like beef, no issues personally with it.Doesn’t mix well with cold water, use room temperature water for best mixability.Very easy on the stomach, no bloat, no gas.Would like to know how many grams of each amino acid is present in one serving.

Pretty good flavor
I had never even heard of powdered beef protein, so I was curious when I ordered this. It comes in a large 1.8 pound container.It was hard to imagine what a chocolate flavored beef protein would taste like, but this tastes pretty good! It mainly has a strong cocoa flavor to me and is not very sweet. It contains stevia, but does not have that usual bad aftertaste I have had with other stevia products. I would not have thought it contained stevia at all if I had not seen it in the ingredient list.I made it with room-temperature water as stated in the directions. It had some clumps in it, but since the flavor isn’t bad, that didn’t really bother me.I would buy again based on its flavor if the price was lower or was really marked down on sale. I like the idea of getting a lot of protein concentrated in one drink. There are 30 servings in the container. This is not something I would drink everyday, so this will last me more than the one month the container would last for someone drinking daily.

Pricey but worth it
I got this a while ago and hadn’t gotten around to trying it. But I had a large project that was extremely physical and I pushed myself for several days in a row. I was so sore I could barely sleep. I don’t like taking ibuprofen or other NSAIDS but I remembered this bone broth protein and figured I would give it a try. I mixed up a glass with water and it took a bit to stir it (a blender would have worked better). It had a pleasant taste and I think it would be better with milk. I was still sore but it was noticeably better. I took some more the next day even though I did more work and it was even better. It is very expensive and for my purposes I wouldn’t use this regularly but I will keep it on hand for those times when I overdo it.
