Gentle, effective, and surprisingly satisfying!
I honestly didn’t expect to like this as much as I do! The e.l.f. Gentle Peeling Exfoliant is super soft on my skin but still manages to make it feel super smooth afterward. I have pretty sensitive skin, so I’m always nervous about exfoliants being too harsh or drying, but this one is really gentle.When you rub it on, it starts to kind of “pill up,” and you can feel little bits of dead skin coming off. It’s weird at first but also kind of satisfying. After I rinse it off, my face feels so clean and fresh without that tight, dry feeling some exfoliators leave behind. My moisturizer goes on better too, which I love.Things I like:Doesn’t burn or sting my skinMakes my face feel soft and smoothNo strong scentSuper affordableOnly downside:The peeling texture takes a second to get used toOverall, I really like this stuff and will definitely keep using it. Great Gentle Exfoliator — Works Like ORG for a Fraction of the Price
This exfoliator works really well and provides great gentle exfoliation. You can actually tell it’s working as you rub it into your skin, which is very satisfying and effective without being harsh.I’ve used the ORG Peel Off Face Cleanser before, and this is very comparable in results—but at a much cheaper price. My skin feels smooth and refreshed after using it, with no irritation.Definitely a great value and something I’ll continue to repurchase. Highly recommend!

It’s a good exfoliant
When I first used this product, I loved how the product pilled up when using because it really felt like it was “doing” something and removing dead skin. Every time after that it barely pilled which was disappointing, but it still left my skin (particularly my nose) feeling smooth and exfoliated. I found out that daily use was too much exfoliation as well. Using this product 2 times a week has been a good addition I would say solely for removing the bumps from my nose.

This product, at this price point is outstanding. It’s a very gentle peel. It leaves my face radiant and I am in my mid-50’s. No weird fragrance either!

Great Gel Exfoliant
This is one of the best exfoliating gels on the market, and you can’t beat the price. I use it all over, face, hands, feet, but I also found that is really helps to exfoliate my back. My skin feels so soft after and my products simply glide on and absorb so much better.

ATTENTION ALL RETINOID USERS
I saw this product recommended on Reddit and decided it was worth a try. This product is absolutely amazing for my purposes. I get a lot of flaky skin on my chin from retinoid use that I’ve struggled to remove without irritating my skin for years, and this stuff helps it just roll right off!!! That being said, if your skin isn’t already flaking, I’m not sure that it would do much for you, it helps remove dead skin at the surface but isn’t just going to make you peel if your skin is already exfoliated and/or well hydrated, that’s what chemical exfoliants are for. But if your skin is already flaky, this is a holy grail.I read some reviews that said it’s not your skin balling up it’s just the product, but I assume they don’t have flaky skin and just expected this to make them peel like a sunburn. You can tell it’s your skin because the balls will be beige/brown from your skin cells and much bigger chunks if your skin is mixed in.I like to leave it on for a couple minutes, let it dry, then add a little more to rewet it before I start the circular motions. But skin starts coming off almost immediately when I do the first application.I also tried the Peter Thomas Roth Firmx peeling gel, but I found this one to be more effective, hydrating, and less irritating for 1/4 the cost. Highly recommend

Not bad, but deceptive.
Giving this 3 stars because it’s a bit dishonest. I got the travel size because I was skeptic. Tried it on my skin, and it seemed to peel off dead skin. Tried it again on a latex glove and got the same results, so it’s just the product pilling. To its credit, it contains propylene glycol which is a common humectant in skincare as well as microcrystalline cellulose which is an exfoliating agent. So, it is exfoliating and moisturizing, but not quite in the way the marketing would lead you to believe it does. I will likely be looking into another product that does what this exfoliator claims.

me gusto que con muy poquito producto aplicado en la cara te exfolias zonas y sin pasar mucho tiempo empiezas a ver piel muerta saliendo, te deja la piel de la cara extra suave y se ve mas blanquita jejeje , recomiendo mucho usarlo de 2 a 3 veces por semana y aplicarse en zonas donde hay manchas porque las va desvaneciendo, yo tengo melasma y me desvanecio unas manchitas
