Amazing option for some additional curb appeal
My family and neighbors love these permanent lights from Govee. The name brand Jellyfish lighting has gotten big in our state, but they are installed by others and crazy expensive. If willing to install yourself, these are amazing quality and control beautifully with the app on your smartphone. Hundreds of preprogrammed options for various occasions and holidays. You can also do a DIY mode to create/save a custom light design yourself. Installation for 50ft string took half a day (including drilling the light mounts on all of them). Zero issues in the first month with connectivity or issues with the wet winter weather.

So many options to choose from on app! These are truly amazing! So many color options, the controls in app is easy to use. Light quality is great, you can adjust brightness. Timer makes things so much easier when you’re not home to turn on. The adhesive works fantastic and length was just enough! Couldn’t be happier

Very simple to put up, price went way up after I purchased it or I would have bought a second. I find the app a bit confusing to use. Light quality was great until I messed with the app now I can’t figure out how to get it that bright again. A link to the app user guide would be very helpful.

Finally I can compete with the rest of my neighbors for most beautiful decoratively home competition that exists in my neighborhood subdivision and more so in my head. So first: in case you were wondering: NO they really meant you can’t add additional segments, no matter how creative you try to be. Get it through your head and don’t do it bThe light quality is enough to make your equally decoration obsessed ancestors proud and the neighbors envy you. The rgb color and lumen capacity are absolutely incredible. They are simply stunning, have really seamless integration between channels of lights and come with enough lights to make any home bright. They are functional for all holidays, but especially the ones that matter: Christmas and any others for your friendly neighborly outdoor lighting competitions. The length of the connection cables were not my favorite. I would’ve preferred 16ft cables to travel on more awkward places on my roof and provide more slack for my install. But for a 37 year old mom and wife who doesn’t exercise with much regularity—this is as seamless as you can get, and I can’t wait to brag to my doctor that I did this by myself, before she gets a chance to remind me of my bmi. The lights have waterproof caps for ends of connections and at all connection points.Govee is expensive. I know. But it’s the best. Just think of all admiration you’ll get for your beautiful uplift home! Buy them!!

Have been amazing so far! The app is pretty cool also to control all the settings, and the AI feature comes up with patterns based on your input. Great for lighting the exterior of the house for all different occasions, as well as just the average evening with warm even lighting, as a patio light!
