I didn’t expect to like this lamp so much! The colors are gorgeous and super smooth — it instantly gives my room a cozy or party vibe, depending on the mode. The JBL speaker sounds clear and loud enough for chill music or podcasts, though it’s not super bassy.Setup was super easy, and the Govee app is fun to play with — tons of lighting effects! The battery lasts a few hours, which is fine, but I wish it had a handle to move it around more easily.Overall, it’s a really fun and stylish lamp that makes any room feel alive. Totally worth it if you like light shows and ambient sound.

Great Lamp/Speaker
Sounds clear with the JBL speakers. Can also do aura cast with other JBL. I love the Govee app. If connected to wifi I can turn on or off at home or away. It serves as a night light for me or as a general lamp. The light is not excessively bright and adjustable for different sorts of ambiance. Connects bluetooth and wifi.

First off I love the light! It’s big it’s beautiful, well made, and the color modes look amazing!The speaker sounds great too and has many built in white noise modes that interact with the color modes – love it!It paired easily enough to my phone for music playback (pandora etc) and I thought the sound was good – maybe a bit bass heavy but overall I was impressed.I just really wish it had alexa built-in. I tried to pair it to an echo show but it just simply wouldn’t stay connected.Hopefully the next iteration of this lamp has it built-in

this speaker likes to party
as a light its awesome. wish it got brighter but its good enough to read by.as a speaker it sounds as good as an object this size should sound. the bass isnt as bad as some people let on. it gets pretty loud for indoor use.

Great Concept, but Sync Issues Make It Frustrating
I generally love all Govee products, but this one not so much. The lights themselves are very nice, but I bought two specifically to pair them, and that’s where all the problems start. They don’t sync well together. One is usually significantly brighter than the other, or they’re completely out of sync. Sometimes it takes multiple attempts just to get them to turn on at the same time. Pairing the speakers in stereo mode is also more of a process than it should be.The lamps are rechargeable, but the battery only lasts around three hours, which isn’t great if you want them running for an evening. They are highly customizable in the Govee app and come with a lot of preset scenes, so the features are there, but the execution needs work.Overall, nice idea but too many bugs for the current price. I think around $80 would be a more realistic cost for what these offer.

Read before buying
Yea dont get this. it’s super cool and sounds amazing, but it will literally blare white noise sounds at 100% volume randomly, sometimes in the day but some times in the middle of the night while everyone is sleeping. govee fix your horrible software. this is a ridiculous issue and the fact that the volume down button doesn’t even help is insane, i have to wait almost a minute for your app to launch!!!

Sounds good, lots of light (and options), and not too big.
This thing is really good. Plenty bright enough for lighting, nothing blinding but if you had to cut your nails it’ll work just fine. Govee has a great app, lots of pre-made lighting options that are pretty cool. Theres some videos about it, they’re pretty much correct. The speaker does really well, especially for something this small. I love the built in white noise options. Just all around great, and for the price I think its worth it. I didnt want Alexa or Google in my apartment like that and I wanted to have the lighting, so this was a big win.

Cool lamp and okay speaker. Having both in one is nice to create ambiance in any room. I like that it can be cordless. The other Govee lamps that I have must remain plugged in somewhat limiting them. I like the two in one light speaker. Also nice larger size compared to the other Govee table lamps.

I didn’t expect much from a speaker inside a lamp, but it’s actually louder and clearer than my phone. The light effects syncing to the music is a cool party trick. It’s taller than I expected, so measure your nightstand first.

It’s a cool lamp. The speaker is very clear but not overly loud. It’s what you would expect a high quality mid sized Bluetooth speaker to sound like. I live in a small space and it is more than enough. It has more scene effects than the last lamp, and it’s almost twice the size. I gave it 4 stars as I don’t like the touch buttons – you have to touch them just the right way and it’s annoying. Tactile buttons would have been a lot better. That being said I rarely use the buttons anyways so meh.
