Why is there a timer function?
To prevent the heating pad from operating for extended periods and potentially overheating, especially when unattended.
Why can’t the temperature be set higher?
The temperature settings on our heating pad are already higher than many others. Raising it further could create a safety hazard.

Best heating pad in our house
Exactly what I needed for the damage I did to my bicep in a bad fall, while I await ortho evaluation on what to do. Only thing that has allowed me to get some sleep. I sent it for 30 minutes for safety reasons and when the pain wakes me up, I set it again. Has dramatically reduced the need for strong pain meds. It’s soft and flexible and the multiple heat and time settings are great.

this is SO soft! It heats Fast! Stays at temp you set it at. Love the timer functions/ settings with the auto off. Very durable fabric. 💥*If you’re wondering how long the CORD is, it’s 6 feet. 👍🥰 I could curl up in this all day!

IF YOU WANT “HEAT” ON YOUR BACK THIS IS THE PAD FOR YOU! THE HIGH HEAT WILL CATCH YOUR ATTENTION VERY QUICKLY. HOWEVER THE MANY OTHER HEAT CHOICES GIVES YOU PLENTY OF ROOM TO CHOOSE WHAT SETTING YOU WOULD LIKE. THE MATERIAL THAT IT IS MADE OF IS LIKE VELVET SO IT FEELS COMFORTALBLE ON YOUR SKIN AS WELL. ALL THIS BEING SAID, I RECOMMEND THIS PAD FOR ITS QUALITY AND VALUE.

What is Maximum is not not maximum it’s only 5 level and 9th level as mentioned and heating takes too much time.

This heating pad doesn’t really work. It barely heats up. Even at level 9, it only gets a little warm, and that too after around 15 minutes.If you’re buying this for back pain, this is honestly not what you’d expect.Dissappointing and not useful for pain relief.

Although the material is soft and comfortable, it completely defeats the purpose. There is hardly any heating even after 30 minutes on maximum power. Absolutely useless.

The Product supplied initially did not worked at all.I made a request for return with exchange. The replaced product is also not working. No heat is generated. The is also returned by someone else earlier is packed and sent without ascertaining whether it is working or not.Now there is no facility for return or exchange. Very Poor quality
