What a delightful surprise!
I purchased this little lamp to go in a guest room.Chosen for its appearance, the convenience of dual USB ports so my guests could recharge devices, the traditional switch (did not want touch control, it’s too touchy), the size and lastly the price.I could not be more pleased.It arrived overnight, snug as a bug in its packaging. I was surprised when I saw the size of the box wondering if it was very tiny because I couldn’t imagine how they could have packed a shade in there too.Upon opening, I found that the shade required assembly and was rolled up neatly inside the box. My first thought was “uh oh, this isn’t going to be good” because these types of things rarely are.Once all out of the box I started examining the pieces and “read” the instructions. Not much for words, but still quite clear.I unrolled the shade and was just amazed at the clever design of it. It has tiny little snap on clips built in that hold it to the frame and very neatly applied Velcro to hold it together. Brilliant design!Took only a minute to put it all together and plug it in. Tested the ports, both fit snugly for a good connection, switch feels solid, not wobbly and one other thing that made me happy… the cord. It’s nice and long and not stiff as a rail. It’s more flexible than most, which allowed me to reverse the kinks and bends from when it had been wrapped up. Kinks in cords are a pet peeve of mine.The color of the shade is perfect. It’s neither white nor beige but a very nice linen.All that, an after having it on my “save for later” list for months now, it was on sale WITH a coupon… Quite a bargain!I’m a very happy customer.
