Great – But Topical Only
I mixed a teaspoon of this into my little jar of ROC retinol cream and it is an amazing super serum with all the benefits of both. The niacinimide also helps counterbalance and soothe the harsh effects of retinol use. However, I would only recommend this for topical use mixing with lotions or creams, as it smells awful like a chalky prescription medication bottle. I can’t imagine putting it into a drink – nasty. If you want to consume it, stick with capsules.

No flushing at all
So, I have to take 1,000 mg of this everyday and I can’t take the pills. I decided to try this powder and I am really enjoying the experience. I don’t have any flushing at all and I usually just drop this in my smoothie or blitzed iced coffee drink and it works great. No chalky taste or bitter bite to it either! I think this bag is going to last a very long time, making it great for the budget. I would highly recommend this product for anyone who needs to use Niacinamide!

Excellent quality.
I’m on my 4th bag now. The packaging has changed a bit, it’s no longer 100% paper, but lined w a foil like plastic and a zip top. I think it protects the integrity of the powder better and I no longer need to move to a separate container. I can store it as is in my cupboard. I take this orally in my smoothies and juices and I also add it to my Japanese toners to spritz on my face and body. I use a scale and measure up to 5%. It mixes well.

Good product, but unpleasant taste
It seems like a good product. I don’t think it is the manufacturer’s fault that the taste is unpleasant, just maybe what the substance tastes like. I have not found a way to disguise the taste. Good packaging. Update: best way for me to disguise taste is in cranberry/grape juice with a lot of lemon.

Works well as a topical supplement
I got this after learning I can mix my own facial ‘serum’ using lotion and Niacinamide. It works just as well as expensive face serums containing Niacinamide and costs MUCH less. A pinch of this in about an ounce of lotion, then rubbing a pea-sized amount into my facial skin daily, has made a difference – my skin feels more moisturized and seems to have more elasticity and looks brighter. I’m not normally sensitive to niacinamide so I haven’t had any side-effects. But I tested it on a small area on my neck first, leaving it on for 24 hours to ensure it wouldn’t cause any adverse reaction.

The seal was not good ,it was coming out of the bag.. It has a bitter taste, it mix well . I noticed it helps with my digestive issues also my hair. My energy is better also my mood . value for the money .

Be careful adding to your formulations
I’ve never had a reaction to B vitamins before, but after using this in my homemade HA serum for several weeks, I took a supplement containing high B vitamins that I’ve taken many times over the past year & never had a reaction to. This time, the amount in the niacinamide combined with those oral capsules was enough to cause my to flush bright red over my body & I started getting hives popping up on my arms, plus my skin began to itch horribly. So why am I giving 5 stars? Obviously this product is what it says it is & it’s no one’s fault but my own that I OD’d on B vitamins lol. I drank a bunch of lemon water & took 2 Benadryl which knocked me to sleep & I woke up fine with no lasting rash, but this is warning to others to make sure you don’t overdo it!
