Quality and great price
Great looking frames. These were less expensive than the dollar store. But, they are quality!
Cali-Gurl-USA –
For a set of several price great, quality good and plan to buy more
These are very nice frames for any project that you would use including for diplomas, etc. Price was great as have extra on hand when needed. Good quality, not light, does have a little weight like you would expect for framing important things in life. Recommend. They are also very functional for framing your grandchild’s grawings, wedding photos, and nore.

Quailty better than expected
very nice quality frames. The clasps and stand are better than other frames I have purchased before. can be hung on the wall or desk mount. Frame material is solid and will not break easily
Hkidz –
Worth the price.
For being as cost effective as they were, I was actually impressed with the quality. They are well made, look decent, and easy to use. Actually better than some others I’ve purchased. Don’t get me wrong, these aren’t fancy by any means… but they aren’t fall apart fast junk, either.

Nice frames
These are really perfect for diplomas and I love how the hooks on the back work. They make it simple to remove the back The glass is really nice too. They are light but don’t feel cheap. If you need frames like these check them out.

Look Way More Expensive Than They Are
THE PROS – What Makes These a Steal:They Look WAY More Expensive Than They Are: At roughly $30-35 for five frames (prices fluctuate), that’s about $6-7 per frame. These look like $15-20 frames you’d buy individually at Target or Michael’s. The black finish is clean, professional, and has a subtle texture that doesn’t look cheap.High Definition Glass is Actually Clear: I’ve bought “budget” frames before where the glass was cloudy or had a green tint. This glass is genuinely clear. My diplomas and certificates are crisp and readable with zero distortion. No glare issues either – you can read the text from multiple angles.Perfect Standard Size (8.5″ x 11″): Fits diplomas, certificates, awards, standard documents, and even printed photos perfectly. This is THE most common document size, so these frames cover 90% of what people need to frame.Sturdy Construction: The frame is solid wood (not MDF or plastic), and the backing is thick cardboard. Everything feels substantial when you hold it. I’ve had these hanging for 6 months through temperature changes, and zero warping or loosening.Wall Hanging Hardware Included: Each frame comes with two sawtooth hangers pre-installed on the back. You can hang them horizontally or vertically depending on which hanger you use. Also includes wall-mounting screws.Tabletop Stand Included: Each frame has a fold-out easel back for displaying on desks or shelves. The stand is sturdy – frames don’t tip over easily. I have one on my desk and four on the wall.Easy to Open and Load: The metal tabs on the back bend easily for loading documents, then hold securely when closed. I’ve opened and closed these multiple times (swapping out what’s displayed), and the tabs haven’t weakened or bent out of shape.Protective Film on Glass: Glass comes with protective film to prevent scratching during shipping. Smart detail that budget brands often skip.Consistent Quality Across All 5: I’ve bought multi-packs where quality varies frame-to-frame. All five of these were identical in quality and finish. No defects, no variations.Professional Black Finish: The black is neutral and professional – works with any decor style. Not glossy (which shows fingerprints) but not flat matte either. Just right.THE CONS – Being Completely Honest:Glass is Not Plexiglass/Acrylic: It’s real glass, which means it can break if dropped. For wall mounting this is fine, but if you have young kids who might knock frames off tables, be aware. On the plus side, real glass looks better than plastic. No UV Protection: The glass doesn’t have UV coating. If you’re framing something irreplaceable in direct sunlight, these won’t prevent fading over decades. For most certificates and diplomas, this isn’t an issue since they’re reprints anyway.Backing Board is Cardboard, Not Wood: Functional but not archival quality. For diplomas and certificates you’ll keep 5-10 years, it’s fine. For museum-quality preservation, upgrade to professional framing.Metal Tabs Can Be Sharp: When bending the tabs to load documents, be careful – the edges can nick your fingers. Not a major issue, just requires care during setup.Limited to One Color: Only available in black. If you need white, wood tone, or colored frames, look elsewhere. The black is versatile, but some people want options. Not the Slimmest Profile: The frame is about 0.75 inches thick. Not bulky, but not ultra-slim either. Creates a slight shadow on the wall.Sawtooth Hangers Only: No D-rings or wire hanging systems. Sawtooth hangers work fine for lightweight frames, but some people prefer other mounting styles.Documents Must Be Exact Size: There’s no mat board, so documents need to be precisely 8.5″ x 11″. Slightly smaller documents will show gaps around edges.REAL-WORLD USAGE OVER 6 MONTHS:Home Office Wall Display: I hung four frames in a grid pattern showing my bachelor’s degree, two certifications, and an award. The uniformity looks incredibly professional. Multiple clients have commented positively during video calls about how professional my background looks.Desktop Display: One frame on my desk with my most recent certification. The tabletop stand is stable – hasn’t fallen over despite being bumped several times.Temperature/Humidity Testing: My office gets hot in summer (Arizona) and dry in winter. Zero warping, no separation between glass and frame, backing hasn’t curled.Ease of Swapping Contents: I’ve changed out what’s displayed twice (rotating certifications as I earn new ones). Takes maybe 2 minutes per frame to open, swap, and re-secure.Cleaning: I’ve cleaned the glass multiple times with Windex. No issues, no scratching, glass still looks perfect.HANGING SETUP EXPERIENCE:Time to Install: Approximately 5 minutes per frame including measuring and leveling. Total of 25 minutes to hang all four in a grid.Wall Damage: Minimal – each frame uses one small screw. If you remove them later, just spackle and paint.Leveling: I used a bubble level and painter’s tape to mark positions. The pre-installed sawtooth hangers made hanging straightforward once positions were marked.Security: After 6 months, none have shifted or fallen. The sawtooth hangers grip the screws securely.COMPARISON TO ALTERNATIVES:vs. Michael’s/Hobby Lobby Frames: Those cost $12-20 EACH on sale. These are $6-7 each with comparable quality.vs. Dollar Store Frames: Huge quality difference. Dollar store frames are flimsy plastic with cloudy acrylic. Not even close.vs. IKEA FISKBO: Very similar quality, but IKEA doesn’t offer 5-packs. You’d need to buy individually for similar total cost.vs. AmazonBasics Frames: Haven’t tested directly, but based on reviews, upsimples has better glass clarity.vs. Custom Framing: Professional framing for one diploma costs $80-150. Five diplomas would be $400-750. This set costs $30-35 total. Massive savings.IDEAL USE CASES:Home Office Credentials: Display diplomas, certifications, licenses professionallyAwards and Recognition: Frame workplace awards, achievement certificatesChildren’s Certificates: Frame school awards, sports certificates, achievement diplomasArt Prints: Display printed artwork, posters, or photos (standard letter size)Restaurant Menus: Small restaurants or food trucks framing their menusBusiness Licenses: Retail shops displaying required licenses and permitsReal Estate Agents: Display credentials in office or home workspaceMedical Professionals: Frame licenses, board certifications, continuing education certificatesNOT IDEAL FOR:Museum-Quality Archival Framing: These are display frames, not preservation framesDirect Sunlight Exposure: No UV protection means potential fading over decadesKids’ Rooms (on tables): Glass breaks – wall mount only in kids’ spacesOutdoor Use: Not weather-sealed; indoor use onlyNon-Standard Document Sizes: Only fits 8.5″ x 11″ exactlyPRO TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS:Create a template – Cut 8.5″ x 11″ paper rectangles, tape to wall, adjust positions before putting holes in wallUse a level – Nothing looks worse than crooked diplomas. Invest 5 minutes in proper levelingGrid arrangement looks most professional – Four frames in 2×2 grid or three in a rowClean glass before inserting documents – Remove protective film, clean both sides, then load documentsUse quality screws – The included screws work, but I prefer using wall anchors for extra security on drywallMeasure from ceiling, not floor – Floors aren’t always level; measure down from ceiling for consistencyConsider lighting – Picture lights or positioning near windows makes documents more visibleKeep protective film until ready to hang – Prevents fingerprints during handlingCREATIVE USES BEYOND CERTIFICATES:Framed family recipes in the kitchenVintage concert posters (if standard size)Children’s artwork (photograph it at 8.5 x 11, print, frame)Inspirational quotes printed on nice paperSports trading cards (arrange multiple in 8.5 x 11 layout)Wedding invitations or announcementsSheet music for music room decorPatent documents or business licensesVALUE CALCULATION:Cost per frame: $6-7Comparable single frames at retail: $15-20Savings per frame: $8-13Total savings for 5 frames: $40-65Professional framing equivalent: $400-750Total savings vs. professional framing: $365-715That’s exceptional value for anyone needing to frame multiple documents.OVERALL VERDICT:These frames are the definition of “exceeds expectations for the price.” I genuinely expected cheap-looking budget frames and got frames that look professional and substantial. The fact that clients and visitors comment positively on my office display tells me these pass the “looks good” test. Are they archival museum-quality frames? No. But for 99% of use cases (displaying diplomas, certificates, and standard documents), they’re perfect. The quality is consistent, the price is unbeatable, and the result looks professional.I’ve already recommended these to three friends, and all three bought them and reported back satisfied. That’s the highest endorsement I can give.WHO SHOULD BUY THESE:Recent graduates needing to frame diplomasProfessionals displaying credentials in home officesParents framing kids’ certificates and awardsBudget-conscious shoppers who want qualityAnyone framing multiple documents at onceSmall business owners displaying licensesTeachers framing classroom materialsReal estate agents, medical professionals, lawyersWHO MIGHT NEED ALTERNATIVES:Anyone needing UV protection for irreplaceable documentsThose wanting colored or wood-tone framesPeople needing non-standard sizesAnyone requiring museum-quality archival framingThose who prefer acrylic over glass (safety concerns)BOTTOM LINE:Six months ago, I had expensive diplomas sitting in a drawer because quality frames seemed too expensive to justify. These upsimples frames solved that problem completely. My office looks professional, I feel proud displaying my credentials, and I saved hundreds of dollars. For the price of one decent frame at a retail store, you get five quality frames. That’s a no-brainer purchase if you need to frame standard-size documents.
