Wrangler Authentics Men’s Long Sleeve Quilted Lined Flannel Shirt Jacket with Hood

This is my second Wrangler jacket in 3 years. It was was Amazon’s best seller then, and it is still now. There’s none like it. It is warm and comfortable with its durable lining. The hood is large but it ties snugly like it should.

OK, ladies, this review is for you! 😉 I’m 5′ 6″ tall, 165-170, 38D, with pretty balanced proportions. I ordered the Large, and it fits just the way I wanted it to! It’s pretty loose (= comfy), even across the hips, where men’s clothing is generally awkwardly tight. (Pretty sure a Medium would’ve also fit me, but who wants this kind of thing tugging at you? It’s not like we’re shopping for men’s quilted flannel to look sexy, LOL!)PROS:100% cotton (outer flannel)Silky quilted lining glides over whatever else I’m wearing, and extends down the sleeves, too.Sleeves are NOT too long!!! (OK, maybe just a little, but not even so much I need to roll the cuffs up.)Side pockets are big enough to fit an iPhone 7+, although I wouldn’t leave my phone there if I were moving around a lot.Great price.Known, US brand.Keeps me warm (even my neck!) in a cool house.Super comfy (as in, I haven’t taken it off since I tried it on); feels more like wearing a fleece top than a structured jacket.CONS:There was exactly ONE color choice (“Caviar”), so it’s lucky I can live with black/cream/tan plaid. Still, I was hoping for something a bit more fun, like those crazy, trendy colors BLUE or RED or GREEN. 😉 I tried to order another one the minute I tried this one on, but… nope. Still just the one color in my size. I even went straight to the Wrangler website, but struck out there, too.Chest pockets of course go with the styling, but are basically thin and useless.Snaps would’ve been preferable to buttons, for me, but it’s not a deal breaker.In short, I wanted something to serve the purpose of a cozy sweatshirt for casual wear around the house, dog walks, taking out the trash, or driving on a cold day (I hate wearing a giant parka in the truck!!!), and this shirt-jacket is perfect! I hope Wrangler will come out with more colors, and not discontinue this item. Winner, winner, chicken dinner! I hope my review helped you.

Cheap jacket. I wouldn’t say it’s very warm, but it’s good to throw over other clothes. Very stylish and washable in the size fits me perfectly great zipper as well.

Very nice lightweight outer layer for the price.
I wanted something to give an extra layer for walking the dogs during the few cold months in the southeast US. This fit the job well.PROS- Lightweight outer layer – warmth from layering moreso than itse;f as it is not a heavy shirt jacket- Very roomy – it definitely runs large, which is perfect for throwing on quickly over a couple of other layerrs (I wear mine over t-shirt and sweat-jacket)- Very well made for the money- Buttons are standard quality, but the stitching around them seems very well done. It will take a while to tear one off.CONS- I am really not a huge fan of buttons, but I will be leaving it open most of the time so it’s passable.- Patterns is a little too busy, but it’s fine.- While the roomy nature is fine for layering, the sleeves on the Large are probably around 35-36 inches in shirt size. That’s a bit much for a large. More like a Tall size. Works for keeping hands warm without gloves though.- The length of the jacket is about right, but the pockets for your hands are down at the bottom, which puts them right at my waistline. Should be a bit higher.Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. If I had tried it on in store, I might have gone with a medium. I was worried as an outer layer that I should buy a large (which I normally wear but can go medium). In this case, they definitely built some room into it, so do not upsize!

Leí comentarios sobre la talla, decían que eran más grandes que lo marcado. Mido 1. 81 mts y peso 76 kgs y me arriesgué y pedí la talla M que es la que siempre uso en otras marcas, y el ajuste es perfecto, ligeramente holgada colo debe ser en una chaqueta. Es ligera, sin embargo el forro hace que sea suficiente para el frío leve de Querétaro.
