Such a good starter retinol
I’ve been really liking this retinol gel. Cocokind as a brand already makes me feel good because their formulas are clean and gentle, and this one is honestly perfect if you’re new to retinol or have sensitive skin. It doesn’t sting or make my face red, and it hasn’t dried me out the way other retinols have in the past.The texture is nice and smooth, and it layers well with the rest of my nighttime routine. I’ve been easing into it every other night like they recommend, and my skin has been handling it really well. It’s helped even out my texture and just makes everything look a little more glowy in the morning.If you want something beginner friendly that still feels like it’s doing something without wrecking your skin barrier, this is a great option.

Great for sensitive/dry skin/acne prone
My skin is very sensitive to retinols, extremely dry, and VERY prone to clogged pores and breakouts. A lot of retinols will completely destroy my skin barrier (think fire on your skin)—but not this!!! I am able to use this daily with only a slight increase in dryness and it does not break me out or clog any pores. It is yellow, texture is ‘silky’ and easy to distribute on the skin, absorbs quickly, and plays well with others! Absolutely will be re-purchasing. ***For reference, I was using first aid beauty’s retinol before, and this is a touch stronger—which i wanted—while still maintaining a gentle formula.

Great for 1st time retinol users
Saw a skin influencer who is also an esthetician use. I had never used a retinol before but Cocokind is a great brand. It was easy to use and gentle. A little goes a long way. Definitely will rebuy.

Amazing affordable retinol!
I used to use tretinoin but it was a little bit too strong for me and irritated my skin a lot. This retinol is much more gentle, leaves my skin super soft and radiant, doesn’t irritate my skin, and has made a notable difference reducing skin texture, redness, pore size, etc. I only use a dime size amount for my entire face/neck every other night. Make sure to wear sun screen during the day and regularly reapply it!!!

A friend recommended this to me. I’ve used it consistently for several months now and it has really helped improve my skin. It’s also easy to travel with. My previous retinol was in a bottle which was difficult when traveling.

Doesn’t have a strong smell and I’ve already noticed small improvements in the first 2-3 weeks. I use it a few times a week and haven’t noticed any drying of my skin.
