Small, But Powerful!
I just have to say, I am super impressed with this RENPHO “Active Mini Thermacool Massage Gun with Heat and Cold”- it may be mini, but you aren’t compromising at all with this massage gun! I compared this tool to 2 other massage guns – one that was less expensive but full-sized, and one that was exceptionally more expensive ($400 range) and also very large…. this RENPHO Mini Massage Gun ended up being the one I liked best of the three!! It has some major things going for it! First of all, this is SO lightweight- it is super easy to position and use. You don’t get tired holding it. The percussion it delivers is comparable (although just very slightly less) than the full-sized massage gun in a lower price range- and that massage gun stalled out with any pressure put on it, while this one did not stall at all. The different massage heads for this massage gun twist (lock) on and off (all three massage guns were the same when it came to how to attach the head) , and all of these on the RENPHO were easy to get on and off, and lock in place, and to unlock- the other two massage guns I tested I struggled with getting the heads locked on them firmly. This one seemed really well designed in that that aspect was easy. The “Thermacool” head on this is absolutely fascinating. It was unlike anything offered on the other two massage guns that I compared this to. Note: only this one attachment has the hot or cold option to it. This attachment head does not need to be separately charged, it functions under the power of the main tool, when you turn the main tool on- this is most convenient. One of the other guns (the really expensive one,) for the heated head – you had to charge that heated attachment in addition to the massage gun itself! So impractical. And it did not offer the “cold” option at all- only heat!) This “Thermacool” head can turn icy cold, or it can turn very warm, on the same metal plate (not at the same time, but you can switch between the two temperatures. Red lights are for hot temps, Blue represent the cold setting), you just use the buttons on the side of it to toggle it to either heat or cold, and you can increase that cold or heat up a few degrees in intensity by pushing the button a few times. (Note: to change the temperatures, even to increase them- the vibrations/percussion on the main tool must be turned off, so set the temp how you want before you get started, once you know what you want.) (Also note, to make the hot or cold, this “Thermacool” head has a vent that pulls air in vigorously, so don’t block that vent- it is not a big deal, not hard to avoid, but I just thought I would mention that!) You can use the percussion with this “Thermacool” head as well, it makes for a very nice targeted massage. The cold isn’t uncomfortable against your skin, but it is fairly dramatic. The heat also was not too hot for my bare skin, but it does get pretty intense. I love how to compact this mini massage gun is, I love the small but sturdy storage case. I love how effective this tool is (especially for leg muscles and lower back). I love how many options it has for massage heads. I love how easy it is to use, how lightweight it is. The only real compromise you are making on this is with such a short handle it is hard to reach spots like your mid-back – you need someone to help you with that. A longer-handled massage gun is easier for tricky spots like that, but I still would choose this massage gun over the others. Also, it is slightly less powerful than the other two massage guns, comparable to the full-sized but lesser-priced massage gun in strength, but much weaker than the super expensive massage gun, but the wildly expensive one was almost too heavy to hold, and felt like using a jackhammer- I could only use the two lowest settings on that anyhow, it was too powerful to be comfortable. This RENPHO mini massage gun is the best choice if you want something easy to use, effective and versatile, and it has very few drawbacks to it! I love it!

Solid construction and lots of massage options
I am very impressed by this Renpho massage gun. While it is not the cheapest massage gun available, I feel that the quality and gun tip options make it an excellent value for money. A single button in the bottom of the handle controls turning it on and off and the intensity of the massage.Pros:*Very effective at loosening tight muscles without applying much pressure*Solid feel in my hand, quiet and powerful*Battery lasts at least 2 hours of continuous use*Lots of useful options for the gun tip and very easy to change between them.*The case is sturdy and very convenient to keep everything together.*The heating head feature has 4 different levels, is effective and can be used with or without the massage function.Cons (all minor):*The cooling head feature is not powerful enough to be effective. One ice cube cools way better and for longer.*I wish there was a slower speed. The slowest speed is too fast for my neck and shoulders.*There is no way to tell the battery level without plugging it in.

The Strong Silent Type
Renpho is a reputable brand of health relaI ted devices. This massage gun is well packaged and very good quality. It comes with a hardshell case along with several massage heads. The hot and cold head works well; you long press on the button on the right to get cold and the heating button on the left to get heat. There are three levels of both hot and cold that you can choose with short pressing the buttons. This is a hard head, so you have to be careful and use it at a lower intensity level. The other head that I really like is the air filled one. It’s very soft and will not hurt somebody and really does well with muscle soreness. There’s a USB-C charging cord included as well as a quickstart guide and QR code to get a longer instruction manual.The button to turn it on and adjust intensity level is on the bottom. I wish it was on the top because it would make it easier to adjust mid treatment. The handle is also a little wide for my hand, so my hand starts to get tired holding it. The ergonomics are just not perfect. The battery, however, lasts a really long time, and will take you through many sessions. It’s very quiet and very portable. The current price is $80 because there is a 20% off special now from the usual price of $100. I think the $80 is a reasonable price, and this would make a great gift. The hot and cold function without having to charge the head separately is very useful!

My new best friend
I was looking forward to getting this massager and I got it yesterday which unfortunately perfect timing. Today I had an accident where a board on my back deck broke and my left leg fell through. I am a plus size person with mobility issues (problems with right leg) so I was tense and sore after that. Thankfully hubby and son were home since I was stuck and they pulled up another board to free me. I had help in to my feet and I changed and went to bed. Woke up from nap sore as could be. This massager helped relieve some of the soreness I was experiencing … thank goodness. I loved the hot and cold portion as well.This massage gun has 5 speeds but I never went higher than a 2 except to see what the speed was at first and to show others (I think the 5th level may possibly be to use it as a hammer… cannot see that not hurting) i totally see this massage gun being my best friend for the next couple days. So perfect timing

Mini Massager with Heat and Cooling Options
This massager is one of many varieties from the Renpho brand. This massager is smaller than a full sized model and this one offers both heat and cooling options on one of the five interchangeable massage heads. The mini massager is relatively lightweight so it’s easy to hold and maneuver around your body. There are five intensity settings which are changeable from the bottom of the handle. For how I use this, battery life has lasted for more than a week for me which is great. The heat and cooling features are new to me and I like that I have this option when giving myself a massage.Overall, it’s a very good mini massager.
