This has a substantial, quality feel in the hand. It heats quickly and to a higher temperature than I’ll ever need. The auto-off safety feature offers peace of mind and seems reliable so far. I like the fabric on the darker side as it won’t show wear and as I have options for tactile comfort, too. Top marks all around. Power Cord _ Polarized / Non-Polarized
_I’ve just received the heating pad and have only short term experience._So far, so good!_The Body Side of the heating pad is shown to be of “Graphene”. I’m not certain if this is a fabric technology, an electric heating technology, or both._The power cord, with the integral Sunbeam 4 step heat selector, has a common 2 conductor polarized plug with Hot and wider Neutral plug spades. Strangely, the removable cord, at pad, is of non-polar reversable design which calls into question the need for the polarized power plug._The non-polar pad-end of the power cord has already come loose and fallen apart 1X. The concern is that the connection could become just partially separated and run hot due to a poor connection._I plan to wrap a couple of turns of common electrical tape at the power cord-to-heating pad connection to insure a positive connection._Otherwise, the heating pad meets my expectations, needs, and approval._One last note. The 2 hour Auto-Off feature is similar to other Sunbeam heating pads. The concave design, of the Big-Button Heat Selector, is less likely to be accidentally bumped OFF / ON as it drags the side of the bed, chair, or floor., Randall

Lasted less than 2 years
I owned this heating pad for less than 2 years. It worked very well for the first 9 months. For the past 6 months it has been overheating at the lowest level and I would have to turn it on and off to use it. Now it will not heat at all.It did work well for pain relief in my back and for muscle cramps. The size was perfect to cover the back and to wrap around a muscle. I liked the auto shut off feature. The black side is softer.I have another one of the same brand but a different model and it is older and performs better. I’m disappointed that it started having problems after 9 months and then stopped working in less than 2 years. I will not buy this model again.

Hot Little Heating Pad
It’s not king size, but it does a really nice job. Gets hot fast and stays there. Great for warming frozen feet up or getting your aching back to calm down so you can lay flat. Cord length is ok, certainly longer than many. The pad is soft and rolls up to store. A great value!

Just received this am! My last one lasted 5 years so I had no choice to replace it. This is going back tomorrow. It’s way smaller than pics and also on highest heat it’s not hot at all! Useless do not buy this. Surprised too! For the sunbeam for the known brand but not good. Crap! NOT king size at all!

Great but I’m not sure if the price is worth it
I’ve been using this for a couple of days and it works great! It definitely heats up quickly, more so than other heating pads similar in size and the cover design is appealing. I’ve seen these range in price from $45-$85 and I’m just not quite sure if the price is worth it unless you can get it around the $45 range, then maybe that price will seem justifiable. It seems like the heating coils are closer together on this compared to a basic similar sized heating pad but that’s really the only major difference. Essentially you do get more effective heating that seems to radiate deeper but sometimes that heat can become overwhelming and I need to turn it down or off. The cover is not removable but you can toss the entire pad in the washer/dryer if needed. Sunbeam makes great products, the AdvancedHeat is a great product, hopefully the price will stabilize around the $45 mark with most retailers. I’d recommend this to anyone who may need or desire a stronger heat source more frequently and if you can justify the price. A basic heating pad will be just as good in my opinion as you won’t be sacrificing much compared to this.

Arrived today. Plugged in for 3 minutes then the pad start smoking and burning. The cable to electric port smoking and smelled burnt as well. Use with caution.

Do NOT buy this item!! It was faulty and as soon as I plugged it it started melting. It’s probably not compatible for UAE and I DO NOT understand why it’s been sold on Amazon UAE .. then the worst part, it’s NOT ELIGIBLE FOR Refund … what a RIPOFF

My wife used it while breastfeeding, and after only a few minutes the room was filled with smoke and the smell of plastic! The baby inhaled the smell of plastic smoke! Very bad! Plugged in for 2 minutes then the pad start smoking and burning……The cable to electric port was smoking and smelled burnt as well. Don’t buy! Dangerous!!!!!!! They should recall defective products immediately to protect the health and lives of consumers.
