Good average size and removable cover
Love Sunbeams heat pads. I have had my last one for 20 years and it still works but I wanted a newer one. This is perfect size and removable cover and the controls are low medium and high. The high doesn’t get as hot as I like but it works. It does not have automatic turn off. For $17 pretty good deal.

I had a severe kink in my neck and needed relief! I couldn’t even turn my head. I know that moist heat penetrates deeper and relaxes muscles more, so I found this one on-line and ordered it because it said it would be delivered before 8am the next morning. Glory be, it was! It was easy so to use. I have a mister bottle for doing my ‘flighty fine hair’ and just sprayed a fine mist over it to get it slightly moist. It heated up very fast and felt amazing. I work in the medical field and know that you should use moist heat for 20 minutes to relax the muscles, then take it off for 20 minutes, then use an ice pack for 20 minutes to reduce the inflammation than can cause pain by pressing on sensitive nerves. I followed that routine for most of the day, alternating 20 minutes of heat or cold with a 20-minute break between each. By that night it had eased enough that I was finally able to get some sleep for the first time in 5 nights! I was able to rotate my head a little more with less pain and by following the same protocol I was much better that night.The pad is well constructed with quality fabrics and materials, and I highly recommend it. It was a great value for the cost paid and the fast delivery was perfect!!!

Great for women with heavy painful cycles. Quality product, I even recommended it to my siblings and they got as well. It’s soft, keeps its temperature well, light weight, and the control options are simple. I don’t think you need it to be more complex. Its flexible and easy to clean.

Gets the job done but power cord attachment is a poor design
This is my 4th one in 20 years and the only reason I had to buy the last two is because my bunny chewed the power cord.Pros:Affordablemoist and dry heatCovers me from neck to lower back (I’m 5 ft 3, 90 pounds and this is a perfect size)washable coverflexible – can wrap around arm or leg, or use it flat.Cons:No auto shut-offthe cord twists after a while and then tears away from the pad. Connection point is a poor design. and the reason for needing to purchase new pads 2 of the 4 times.

Exactly what you expect from Sunbeam, simple but good quality.
Great heating pad. It does have a plasticky feeling, which is expected. The cover it comes with is incredibly thin. I highly suggest a fleece replacement cover for comfort (I have 3). This is to replace the exact same Sunbeam heating pad I had for years that eventually bit the dust. The cord is a good length, it reaches from the wall outlet across the bed just fine. It functions well, gets nice and hot. I don’t know about the timer as I never leave it on quite that long.

Will not turn off automatically
Nice and inexpensive heat pad, however the description is incorrect. It does not shut off! I am very unhappy about that as I have left it on overnight two or three times now. Fire hazard?

I bought this for when my back pain kicks in, and I can tell you this really helps. It’s a nice and long heating pad, and the three settings of heat differ enough that the hottest setting is barely needed for me. I use it often, and I haven’t found any splitting in the plastic covering since I’ve gotten it and used it. I also really like that it has a shut off at 2 hours after turning it on. It claims that it’s waterproof on the packaging but I haven’t tried that yet and probably won’t, but the fact the cover for it is very durable makes me believe it most likely is.

Works good but I find that medium isn’t hot enough and high is too hot. I wish there were more temperature settings. Auto shut off is a great safety feature but I wish you could adjust the time for it to shut off. Overall a good product, appears to be well made.
