Good value as a set- excellent sponge cleaner!
I’ve used all kinds of makeup sponges in the past, including the BeautyBlender. To be honest, I usually use another, much cheaper type I have a subscription to on Amazon that is about equal to this sponge (see recommendation below if interested). I bought this set mostly to get the case and solid sponge cleaner.I was blown away by how much better this soap/cleaner is than facial/hand/dish soap which I have reluctantly used in the past as a substitute. It’s also much better than the liquid version I have used by this brand before. The main downside is that it is messy, and I’m still trying to figure out the best way to store it between uses. I could use the case, but I prefer not to until the soap is dry.The other slight downside is that the case is not great to use for the sponge if your sponge is still damp since it doesn’t breathe as well as other mesh-like ones do. Still, it will keep it protected if you need to throw it in a travel bag/purse and you can always use the cleaner to freshen up the sponge, which is kind of the whole point of this set anyway.Pros:Travel friendly!Cleans effectively- I will definitely buy the cleaner again- even the more expensive full sized version.Attractive case- love the pink and black!Cons:Not quite AS breathable as some cases- I recommend using a BB stand/nest to set the sponge on to dry before putting back in the case ideally.EDIT: is better than I originally thought after using for travel. I have updated the rating accordingly.Expensive if you’re buying the BB brand sponges as replacements every 3 months at least as recommended. I use the one by Aesthetica Cosmetics (Beauty Sponge Blender) and in my personal opinion it is just as good, and usually under $4 so I recommend trying it if you’re looking for a cheaper option.

Blends well and easy to clean. The soap is effective and has a good smell. The only con is the scrubber tears up the sponge so I stopped using it.

These are hands down the best beauty sponges I have ever used. Soft and maleable sponge. The soap and blotter that comes with it makes cleaning a breeze. Buy this soap because it’s amazing! I love the holder it comes in, too! Perfect for keeping your sponges clean and contained. Great set for traveling or gifting.

Blends nicely and easy to clean/travel with.
This set works beautifully for traveling. I love the blender… the company makes a great blender… but this set in particular has been handy for traveling. I don’t often wear makeup when I travel, but there are those days/evenings when it makes sense. The blender is lovely for light, all around makeup application, the case keeps the icky things out and even allows for airflow. The bar needs time to dry, but packs into the case nicely with a little wrap.

takes off makeup instead of blending
I’ve always read how great this product was and thought I’d jump on the bandwagon and forked over $26 for this. Wow, it literally does not blend in my cream blush. It literally took it off. Even tried just dab a bit – same thing, the blush just disappeared. So weird. I have other similar style sponge blenders and they all blend the product in and not remove it. Sigh, I can’t return it but I wouldn’t recommend.

The soap is very small but so far it works. The sponger is 100% not beauty blender brand. It’s feels like a kitchen sponge. Very poor quality. I love the little case it was comes with. Very helpful when traveling.
